Woman to Woman – a portrait series. campaign information 2018

Woman to woman – a portrait series.

Woman to Woman is a portrait series in celebration of Women for International Women’s Day. The goal is to raise money through meaningful portraiture with all proceeds being donated to the Canadian Women’s Foundation.

Here is a bit about the aim of the series and campaign:

“We all have at least one woman in our lives who has been our guiding light, our teacher, our mentor and our inspiration. She is that woman (or women) who has helped us to become the person we are today. She may be our friend, our teacher, our mother, our sister, our cousin, or that someone special who was brought into our life when we needed her most.

Now is the time to shine a light on that special woman – a time to show her your gratitude, love, and appreciation. Come together for a meaningful portrait and put what she means to you down on paper, in your own words. It’s time to honour the woman (or women) whom you admire.

All proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Women’s Foundation on International Women’s Day on Thursday, March 8th.”

I will be running a few portrait days through the months of January and February 2018. I will be collaborating with some of the wonderful businesses in Edmonton that have offered to host a “Woman to Woman portrait day” at their location. Dates are still being secured, but some of the amazing businesses who will be hosting portrait sessions are: The Skinny, Barre Body Studio Edmonton, L2 Fitness, Love Pizza, and The Makers Keep. A sincere thank you to them for their support!
